An introduction...

I have to be honest, pressing the 'log in' button was a little nerve wracking, even my poor neglected blog gave me the 'look'. I KNOW, I haven't been around much. Y'see, dare I say it, my 'real-life' somehow took over - I no longer found the time to do what I loved and enjoyed the most and that is, writing/blogging and with it went my readership and probably my followers - can you believe I EVEN stopped tweeting?!?

So why the radio silence? I got married. I feel like this is a fresh start, so errr, yeah... " Hello, my name is Sarah Nash... nice to meet you all" On the 11th April, I became a Mrs, married my best friend and lover of 11 years. After being engaged for just over a year, slowly but surely wedding planning kinda took over my life. Opting for a more DIY wedding for both the look and money saving (do you realise how much weddings cost these days!?!?) I had so much to do and thanks to my rubbishly organised self, hardly any time to do it (hello last minute!) and so, like a lot of things, my blog took a very much back seat in my life.

The wedding is over, I've packed away the dress (until I wear it around the house) boxed up the chair sashes, read all the cards, and am eagerly anticipating the photos, but all in all it is back to reality. Being married, is, dare I say it, pretty darn fudging excellent, and for those who are wondering, it has totally changed me and my relationship into something altogether LUSH. In the run up to the wedding I was very reluctant to divulge any of my wedding planning - worrying that I may altogether annoy people (Bridezilla anyone?) however, now it is all over and done with, I can't wait to showcase some of the very special day that changed my life for the better - that's what blogs are about right?!

We are still awaiting the professional photo's to come back, but I have put some sneeky peeks (some are screenshots) in this post, but maybe, I'm hoping, I could share them all with you when they come back, and maybe provide some hints and tips to anyone who is due to be walking up the aisle.. is that ok?

*all credit to Kate Gray Photography for these - I love you guys!*
