That's not to say I like my jewellery to be made out of plastic, oh no I like the blingy, the shiny, and well, the expensive looking. If I'm being honest I tend to buy my fashion jewellery from High Street stores such as Topshop, Zara, Next etc, and so have never really taken the time to look online thinking it will be well out of my price range, however this has all changed with Argento. (http://www.argento.co.uk/)
I was kindly offered to review some of their jewellery: I took the time to scope out their website and immediately thought their goods, despite looking totally up my street, would be well and truly out of my budget - I was completely wrong. All seeming reasonably priced, I made a mental wish list up right there and then.
Upon first glance the August Woods range really caught my eye - it's different without being zany and the rose gold effect is so much kinder on skin tone. Prices ranged from £5 to £40 which is all well within my budget.
Argento's own brand is stunning, with my favourites as the Tree Of Life locket priced at only £60
Or go with trend and try the Argento Wishbone bracelet, which believe it or not, is only priced at £12
Gifted with the top 5 picks from the Editor I decided to really put Argento ,and the brand, to the test. The problem with some blog reviews is, well, they're not always real and that's not fair on you, the reader. So armed with my stash of goodies from Argento I sent a gift pack to two of my friends for them to try on, wear out, style up and review honestly. The first post comes tomorrow with a review of the Dirty Ruby (http://www.argento.co.uk/Models.aspx?ModelID=39414) at Argento, will the brand come up as good as my first thoughts?
